Steven Witherly, PhD - Scientific Advisor, Product Development

Steven Witherly, PhD, is a renowned developer in the nutritional supplement arena.  He received his PhD in Human Nutrition from Michigan State University.  Prior to that Dr. Witherly received his MA in Food Science and his BS in Nutrition and Dietetics, both from the University of California at Davis. 

He is a member of the Institute of Food Technologies; the American Association for the Advancement of Science; Sigma Xi Research Society; Gerontological Society; The New York Academy of Sciences; and the American Society of Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition.

Dr. Witherly has spent over 30 years developing nutritional products.  As such, he has developed an expertise not only in the importance of supplements for the body, but also in the many ways supplements can be delivered and processed.  Dr. Witherly has developed products for many companies both in the US and abroad, and is particularly knowledgeable about the international regulations and requirements for such products.

Currently, Dr. Witherly runs his own laboratory in Los Angeles, California.  He joins us as a consultant so that he may give us unbiased, scientifically-based information for cutting-edge products.  He is not affiliated with any manufacturer or product, and provides us with the best science available in this rapidly growing industry.  Dr. Witherly is not available for talks or meetings with our Representatives or Customers, as his sole role is to serve as our chief scientific advisor.  Additionally, Dr. Witherly is a part-time professor at California State University at Northridge where he teaches a variety of food technology courses.
