Description

Energizer Tea is a revolutionary instant tea high in natural antioxidants that promote thermogenesis (fat-burning) and reduce fat absorption. Contains Black Tea, Yerba Mate Tea, Green Tea Polyphenols, White Tea Extract Polyphenols and Stevia. Now with added Rhodiola, Energizer Tea contains the benefits of a powerful adaptogen too!

Recent research suggests that Yerba Mate, a Brazilian rainforest leaf renowned for providing a natural energy boost, may also help burn fat and block fat absorption. Green Tea is a powerful antioxidant and White Tea is the strongest known tea polyphenol, a plant-derived antioxidant.

Ingredients

Ingredient Benefit
Rhodiola Standardized Extract An authentic adaptogen, increasing the resistance of the body without disturbing its normal biological functions. Improves the brain’s ability to deal with stress by 1) increasing serotonin in the hypothalamus and midbrain, 2) increasing endorphins,
3) moderating the release of opioid peptides that occur as a part of the stress response, and 4) protecting the brain and heart by reducing the stress related production of corticotrophin releasing factor (CRF).
Yerba Maté Contains triterpene saponins that reduce fat absorption by preventing micelle formation, which inhibits the breakdown of fat and its subsequent absorption. Contains caffeoylquinic acid, which acts like a digestive, increases bile flow and helps promote intestinal health. Also has anti-inflammatory qualities and may produce anti-rheumatic effects. Contains natural caffeine and theobromine, which increase fat burning. Also has a bronchodilation (anti-asthmatic) effect. Known for centuries to increase mental acuity and suppress appetite.
Black/Green Tea The most widely consumed herb on the planet, green tea is legendary for many healthful effects including a reduced risk of
cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, high cholesterol, cardiovascular disease and impaired immune function. In addition, it has been shown to reduce the absorbtion of dietary fat.
White Tea This very rare ingredient uses only the single bud with silver hairs plucked from the tea plant and is unusually rich in healthy polyphenols. Studies show anti-viral, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial activity. May even help in the prevention of dental cavities.
Stevia This exceedingly safe naturally sweet herb has health benefits. Used extensively in Japan, Stevia may help control blood sugar, high blood pressure and gingivitis as well as soothe an upset stomach and promote fullness when taken before eating.

Common Questions

Q: Is there caffeine in this beverage?
A: As this beverage contains tea—green, white and black—it does contain natural caffeine, at about 60 mg per recommended serving. This amount of caffeine is about equal to a weak cup of regular tea.

Q: I thought caffeine was bad. So why does this True Essentials product contain it?
A: In moderation, caffeine is not bad and can help the body release free fatty acids, making it easier to burn them as energy. Like all food and beverage products, caffeine is not detrimental if used responsibly.

Q: If I am sensitive to caffeine and it keeps me up at night, can I still use this product?
A: There is a moderate amount of caffeine in each serving (see the first Q&A). However, we would suggest that you not drink Energizer Tea after 3:00 PM.

Q: If my doctor has instructed me to avoid foods with caffeine, can I still take this product?
A: We always recommend that you follow your doctor’s orders.

Q: Is it okay to use all of the TE Weight Management Products?

A: Our suite of weight management products are intended to be used in combination. Do obtain your doctors guidance if you are taking prescription medications or have a medical condition.   Here are some suggestions for how you might use our products.

You may take Fat & Carb Control up to 30 minutes before eating a meal with fat and/or carbohydrates in it.  You can take up to 3 capsules with a meal, up to 3 times per day.  There is no benefit to taking more than 9 per day.  This supplement helps to block the metabolism/absorption of fats and carbohydrates, so that you do not receive all the calories contained in a meal which contains these macronutrients.

The suggested use for Boost & Burn is to take one mid-morning and another one with lunch or in the early afternoon.  Boost & Burn has caffeine in it, so do not take it too late in the day.

Crave Control with Hoodia has no caffeine, so you might want to take Boost & Burn mid morning & with lunch or early afternoon - and take the Crave Control with Hoodia before lunch and then again in the later afternoon or evening if you get the munchies at those times.  These are just suggestions.  You may adjust how you take them, of course, to fit your needs and lifestyle.  I do recommend that you take both of these supplements as regularly (daily) as possible for maximum benefits.

The Whey Protein Shake and/or Vegan Protein Shake can be used one or two times per day.  It can be used as a snack or as a meal replacement.  Athletes often take whey protein within 20 minutes of a strength training workout in order to build maximum muscle.  Because it is advisable to get about 30 grams of protein in the morning in order to have lasting fullness throughout your day (more even blood sugar), the Protein Shake is a perfect solution.  If you mix it with some milk, then you will achieve 30 grams of protein.  If you blend the Protein Shake with some whole fruit (use frozen fruit or add some ice) and also eat an egg or a few nuts, then you will have a great, nutritious start for your day.  These ideas work for a lunch replacement as well.  When you want or need a snack to carry you between meals, then a simple Protein Shake can offer a low calorie, yet satisfying, option.   It can be the solution to a "chocolate" craving, if needed.

Energizer Tea may be used daily or occasionally.  It may be mixed to your taste preference; add more or less water to suit your taste preference.  You might like to add some additional stevia or some lemon, lime or peach juice.  Another option is to add some Energizer Tea into your Protein Shake. Keep in mind that Energizer Tea and Boost & Burn both provide some caffeine, so we do not recommend their use after about 3 in the afternoon, and we also suggest that you use them to replace other sources of caffeine in your diet.

Fiber Powder has has a slightly sweet taste and is easy to mix into food or drink, hot or cold, such as oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, Energizer Tea, Protein Shake, etc. The recommended intake of fiber is 25 to 35 grams of fiber daily.  Each serving of Fiber Powder provides 5 grams.  It is best to ease into using the fiber.  We recommend that you begin by using one serving per day and then increase to two after your system adjusts to one serving per day.

Usually around 3 in the afternoon, I start to feel tired and run down.  No energy at all!  I started bringing my Energizer Tea to work with me and now we have 'afternoon tea!'   I like the 'new' taste and that you can serve it warm or cold.  Thanks True Essentials for getting me through my day!

Betty, Ohio
"I have been using True Essentials Weight loss products for 14 days now; today is the 14th day. In two weeks, I have lost 4.4 pounds.

I replaced two meals a day with the Protein Shakes and used the Energizer Tea, but I did not follow the eating plan for the supper meal. The fact that I was able to lose 4.4 pounds while not changing my supper diet at all actually speaks well for the efficacy of the weight loss products.

I have not experienced any real hunger while on these products. I felt energetic and happy. I am excited and looking forward to more great results as I continue using these products."

Kathryn Lapp's Story
"I am totally amazed that I can walk past the cookie jar without having the urge to reach for one. My husband and I have talked about the fact that we no longer crave sweets, when before we thought a meal had to include dessert. I have always had a very oily complexion, but don't appear to now. I now take the stairs instead of elevators. I have gone from size 12 clothes to size 6. I feel better than I have in years. I am still amazed that with drinking the Energizer Tea I have been able to not take my migraine prescription. I have had to take one migraine pill since we started the program (then it was my fault- I forgot my Protein Shake and went without food for too long). It truly is a lifestyle change."

Rita's Weight Loss Program Story
"I feel that the True Essentials weight management program is great. The TE Protein Shake is very tasty and the Energizer Tea and other supplements are keeping my energy levels up."
