Description
Fiber Powder is an integral part of the True Essentials' Weight Management System and offers other health benefits as well. This formula provides a combination of pure soluble fibers that act not only as a fiber source but also provide a prebiotic effect that enhances the growth of good bacteria in the intestinal tract. The formula also contains a powerful probiotic, Lactobacillus acidophilus, which promotes intestinal health and boosts immunity. The scientific community recommends 25 to 35 grams of fiber a day to assist with regularity and keep the intestines healthy. Prebiotic fiber helps provide bulk for the intestines to promote a feeling of fullness while proving good bacteria for the gut. Probiotics are good bacteria that help normalize gut function, promote regularity and a sense of well-being.

Common Questions
Q: What does the Fiber Powder taste like?
A: Our powder is completely soluble and tasteless, so it mixes easily into food or drink and does not affect the flavor of what it is added to. Try adding it to juice, cereal, applesauce, cottage cheese, yogurt or a True Essentials’ Protein Shake.
Q: What are probiotics?
A: Our intestines are populated with about 400 different strains of microscopic organisms. Fortunately, most of them are beneficial. Probiotics are bacteria that help us digest food and absorb valuable nutrients, help us maintain a healthy balance of bacteria in our gut, defend against dangerous bacteria and yeast, promote a healthy immune function, and can help reduce cholesterol.
Q: Are the probiotic bacteria safe?
A: The type of bacterium added to the Fiber Powder is called Lactobacillus acidophilus. These are the same bacteria commonly used to make yogurt. Unlike the bacteria used to make yogurt, the strain we use is very stable when exposed to air.
Q: What are prebiotics?
A: The fibers in our Fiber Powder are called prebiotics. These prebiotics provide a natural source of fiber that helps with regularity, promotes a feeling of fullness, and encourages the growth of beneficial probiotic bacteria in the intestines. Prebiotic fibers support the growth of probiotic bacteria. Together they help the intestines function properly which helps your body absorb nutrients and fight undesirable bacteria and viruses.
Q: How much fiber should I take each day?
A: The average diet is high in fat and low in fiber, making fiber supplementation a wise choice. It is advisable for most people to consume 25 to 35 grams of dietary fiber each day. True Essentials has two products designed to help us improve our daily fiber intake and support our weight management goals. Fiber Powder contains about 5 grams of fiber per serving and the Whey Protein Shake provides 5 grams per 2 scoop serving. Depending on your intake of fiber from food, you may take up 6 teaspoons per day of the Fiber Powder.
Q: Is your Fiber Powder natural?
A: Yes, our Fiber Powder is 100% natural.
Q: What are the benefits of taking Fiber Powder as a supplement?
A: Adding fiber to your diet can assist you with managing your weight because it helps to give you a sense of fullness without the calories of food. Fiber has been shown to help reduce cholesterol and promote intestinal health. A good supply of fiber will help your intestinal tract eliminate waste more efficiently and reduce the likelihood of constipation. When your intestinal tract is working efficiently and is healthy, your ability to properly absorb and digest nutrients from food is optimized.
Q: Is it safe for children to take this product?
A: Yes, children will benefit from this product in the same ways that adults will. Do adjust the amount they take by considering both their size and the amount of fiber they obtain from food.
Q: Will Fiber Powder help me lose weight?
A: Fiber plays a key role in an effective weight management program by providing a sense of fullness, helping to avoid constipation, promoting intestinal health and may also absorb some calories, preventing their digestion.
Q: I just started taking the Fiber Powder as part of a weight loss program, but I am experiencing a problem with increased intestinal gas. Is this normal?
A: The fiber we use is the least likely to cause intestinal gas problems, but it often takes up to three weeks to adjust to its use. For many people, it is best to begin using the Fiber Powder and other weight loss supplements gradually in order to allow their digestive system to adjust. Each person’s system is unique, so work with your own body, since you know it best, and gradually add in the weight loss supplements. Start slowly, perhaps at half pace, then increase your supplement use a step at a time as you sense that your system has adjusted. There are many variables in a person’s diet, exercise patterns and eating habits, so there is not a one‐size‐fits‐all answer. Keep in mind as you ease into product use that the Whey Protein Shake provides a source of fiber also and that most adults need 25 to 35 grams of fiber daily.
Q: Is it okay to use all of the TE Weight Management Products?
A: Our suite of weight management products are intended to be used in combination. Do obtain your doctors guidance if you are taking prescription medications or have a medical condition.
Here are some suggestions for how you might use our products.
You may take Fat & Carb Control up to 30 minutes before eating a meal with fat and/or carbohydrates in it. You can take up to 3 capsules with a meal, up to 3 times per day. There is no benefit to taking more than 9 per day. This supplement helps to block the metabolism/absorption of fats and carbohydrates, so that you do not receive all the calories contained in a meal which contains these macronutrients.
The suggested use for Boost & Burn is to take one mid-morning and another one with lunch or in the early afternoon. Boost & Burn has caffeine in it, so do not take it too late in the day.
Crave Control with Hoodia has no caffeine, so you might want to take Boost & Burn mid morning & with lunch or early afternoon - and take the Crave Control with Hoodia before lunch and then again in the later afternoon or evening if you get the munchies at those times. These are just suggestions. You may adjust how you take them, of course, to fit your needs and lifestyle. I do recommend that you take both of these supplements as regularly (daily) as possible for maximum benefits.
The Whey Protein Shake and/or Vegan Protein Shake can be used one or two times per day. It can be used as a snack or as a meal replacement. Athletes often take whey protein within 20 minutes of a strength training workout in order to build maximum muscle. Because it is advisable to get about 30 grams of protein in the morning in order to have lasting fullness throughout your day (more even blood sugar), the Protein Shake is a perfect solution. If you mix it with some milk, then you will achieve 30 grams of protein. If you blend the Protein Shake with some whole fruit (use frozen fruit or add some ice) and also eat an egg or a few nuts, then you will have a great, nutritious start for your day. These ideas work for a lunch replacement as well. When you want or need a snack to carry you between meals, then a simple Protein Shake can offer a low calorie, yet satisfying, option. It can be the solution to a "chocolate" craving, if needed.
Energizer Tea may be used daily or occasionally. It may be mixed to your taste preference; add more or less water to suit your taste preference. You might like to add some additional stevia or some lemon, lime or peach juice. Another option is to add some Energizer Tea into your Protein Shake. Keep in mind that Energizer Tea and Boost & Burn both provide some caffeine, so we do not recommend their use after about 3 in the afternoon, and we also suggest that you use them to replace other sources of caffeine in your diet.
Fiber Powder has has a slightly sweet taste and is easy to mix into food or drink, hot or cold, such as oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, Energizer Tea, Protein Shake, etc. The recommended intake of fiber is 25 to 35 grams of fiber daily. Each serving of Fiber Powder provides 5 grams. It is best to ease into using the fiber. We recommend that you begin by using one serving per day and then increase to two after your system adjusts to one serving per day.
For years I have not been ‘normal’. A friend suggested I try your Fiber Powder. I was a little skeptical at first, but decided to help out a friend. I was really amazed that just after my second day of using your product, my constipation had ended! Thanks for your great product.

"The weight management program is GREAT...some of the most simple suggestions have made a great difference!! My daughter looks at me like I'm silly, not knowing some of the nutritional information. - I grew up with the "old" food triangle, and believed in it for years...old habits die hard! ... When you can step out of the shower (i.e. Nekkid...LOL) and LIKE how your body has changed, it's a great thing!"
